January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a national observance that raises awareness about human trafficking and empowers the public to take action. The Alaska Native Justice Center (ANJC) invites you to participate in their Dghaznigi Community Needs Assessment to understand our community’s perception of human trafficking.
“Dghaznigi” – meaning “cache” in Dena’ina – symbolizes a place of protection and resource gathering. Like traditional caches that sustained communities, this assessment aims to build protective services for trafficking survivors.
All survey responses are confidential and voluntary. Your input will directly contribute to a community-focused strategic plan to enhance services for victims and survivors in Alaska.
